- CLASS PROJECT - Ms. Scheinman's Grade 8 History class was asked to first consider their identity as a Canadian, and to then reflect upon their unique identity as a Canadian Jew. The students examined the highly popular Molson Canadian commercial entitled: 'I am Canadian,' and considered the comical, yet valid disparities that exist between Candians and Americans. Following this, students re-wrote the same commercial, but entitled it: 'I am Jewish.' The results were both accurate and hilarious, reflecting upon the fact that our identity as Jews is what makes us unique as Canadians. Students came to the consensus that they were all "Proud to be a JEW!"To see their work click here.
